Hilbi IQ · patient education
The right words at the right step
Education delivered where the patient actually needs it. Written and reviewed by named clinicians, versioned, and identical for every patient at that step.
- Education only
- No clinical decision
- Named author and reviewer

Authored by clinicians
named author, different named reviewer
Reviewed on a cycle
content past its date is withdrawn
What it does
Content delivered at a step in the pathway. Nothing more, deliberately.
Education at the right step
The material for the step the patient is on. What it is for, how to prepare, what happens next. Not a leaflet at the start.
Written by named clinicians
An author, a different reviewer, a review date and a next-review date. Content past its date is withdrawn, not served.
Versioned like content
Education is content, not code. Written, reviewed, versioned and published, and the same version reaches every patient at that step.
The same for everyone at that step
No personalisation from the record. Personalising clinical material to one person is the line between education and a medical device.
Intended purpose and boundaries
Written so a reviewer can re-run the classification rather than take it on trust.
- Intended purpose
- To deliver clinician-authored educational material to a patient at a defined step of a care pathway.
- What it does not do
- It does not interpret the patient's data, does not generate a patient-specific recommendation, does not triage, does not diagnose and makes no clinical decision.
- Regulatory position
- On this intended purpose it is not a medical device under EU MDR 2017/745, assessed against MDCG 2019-11.
- Content governance
- Named author, a different named reviewer, review date and next-review date, versioned in the CMS.
- Personalisation
- By pathway step only. Never by the individual patient's clinical data.
- Who pays
- The patient. from €9 per patient per month.
- Languages
- Slovak and Czech.
- Data residency
- European Union for the Slovak and Czech markets.
- What the clinician sees
- That material was delivered and whether it was opened. Not an assessment of the patient.
- Where pathway tracking lives
- Tracking which step was missed and alerting the care team is a function of running a Care Plan, not of IQ Care. See the Care Plans page.
Questions about scope
Is this a medical device?
Does it tell the patient what to do about their own results?
Who writes it?
The patient pays. Does that change anything clinically?
What about the follow-up that nobody booked?
Monthly briefing
The signal, once a month.
What changed in European health data, what we shipped, and what it means for a provider. Nothing else.
